Checklist for a good CoWorking experience

We hear the question about, “What should I bring?” quite regularly. So here are some tips.

A checklist for you to follow.

You can download the checklist in PDF format at the end of the post. We left room for you to add your own needs.

  • Any work materials you would normally need at an office
    • Laptop
    • Notebook
    • Pen/Pencil
    • Headphones – in case you want to listen to music/podcasts/etc.
    • Chair back support – if needed
    • Paperwork for client meetings
    • Briefcase/Attache
    • Digital audio recorder – if this is your note taking preference
    • Your phone – kind of a no brainer
    • Chargers – laptop, phone, etc.
    • Business cards
    • Flash drives
    • Books/Reference material that you may need
    • Any material that may not be supplied by the space – as an example, if you are a photographer, bring your camera and other gear.
  • Non work related items
    • Lunch – While most spaces may have some snacks or even a kitchen, you may not like the options
    • Credit/Debit cards – in case you want to go out for lunch or there are ala carte items at your space
    • Sweater – Even in the summer, they may keep the space very cool
    • Your own snacks & drinks – you may not like what they offer
